THE SUGGESTIONS WERE FOR SUPER STREET CLASS TO ALLOW ALL FACTORY TYPE SUSPENSIONS WITH WEIGHT REQUIREMENTS. NO CUBIC INCH RULE AS LONG AS THEY MEET THE WEIGHT REQUIREMENTS. LEAF SPRINGS W/LADDER BARS & COIL OVERS OK. FACTORY COIL SUSPENSION WOULD BE  FINE. KEEP THE OTHER RULES FOR THE CLASS THE SAME AS THEY ARE. I WANT TO TALK TO MITCH AND DANNY ABOUT THIS SUGGESTION. WE'RE TRYING TO MAKE CLASSES AT BITHLO MORE ENJOYABLE & COMPAREABLE. Rick    Report

The trucks that currently compete in this class are closer to the Super Stock rules than Super Street (with the exception of tires and cubic inches). My suggestion is to copy the rules for Super Stock with DOT tires and no cubic inch rule. Leave the weight break for Small blocks. Super Street trucks from Neeces can run in this class and be competitive. Have you seen how fast them dudes are? If you change too much from what you already have, you may loose some of the trucks that have been supporting the class for the past couple of years. I beleive these small changes will allow trucks from other tracks another class to run while they are here without eliminating one of the most competitive classes you have now. I think so and I have a few people that agree. That way ther other people you are trying to get down here will be able to come, because they are already set up that way.winkwink ;) :)    Report

The SMRO (up there) is working on their classes too so we thought we would work on them together and make as many racers happy as possible while we do it. That's why we are asking for suggestions. I was in the process of building a truck for In-between street but I will now put that on hold until the rules are finalized. I, like most of the racers in that class, cannot afford to keep changing things on my truck. If you make In-between street "Super Street" then only one or two of the current trucks are legal. The only other DOT tire class I see for them to run is Class 3 if you have it there. I don't see any of these guys builing a smaller motor just to run a class nor will they be competitive with the "all out race trucks". Not everybody has cut tires to run Pro Street or Super Stock. It will be a shame to loose this class based on the false hope of replacing it with trucks from out of town. Don't get me wrong, I think common rules between tracks is a great idea. If our two local tracks had done that years ago then maybe we all would have run both of them more. I will continue to check the web site for the final rules and finish my truck after that. I will be anxious to see everyones' reaction to the changes on the 20th. Rule changes or not it's still the nicest place to race around here. Keep up the good work. WANNAB    Report

INBETWEEN HAS ONLY A HAND FULL OF RULES. THERE'S A FEW MORE RULES ON SUPER STREET CLASS  THAT THE INBETWEEN TRUCKS WILL HAVE TO CHANGE OR ADD.  THERE'S NO CUBIC INCH RULE FOR SUPER STREET. WEIGHT WOULD BE A  FACTOR,WITH ANY CARB. IF WE CHANGED INBETWEEN TO SUPER STREET THAT WOULD BE FINE WITH ME.THEN MAYBE THEY CAN JUMP UP IN SUPER STOCK CUT TIRES. I BELEIVE WE WILL USE THE CLASSES ABOVE THAT I LISTED EARLIER. THESE CLASSES ARE  SIMILIER TO  WHAT WE RUN NOW.. BUT A FEW THINGS DIFFERENT.  AS EVERYONE HAS SEEN BITHLO DIDN'T HAVE TO MUCH TO OFFER THE PAST YEARS..NOW THINGS HAVE CHANGED! Rick    Report

I've been trying to figure out how to catch that little red toyota and black blazer for a long time. Maybe when they have to weigh 4100 lbs. I'll have a chance. Mike Miller working on the class rules and have had calls from two different groups wanting info about starting tracks....Interest is there,so mayby We can get this off the ground and running in a good way for us Mud Racers.
