07-16-2007, 7:17 PM Bubba'sMudRanch Joined on 03-02-2007 Posts 34 LAST SATURDAY NIGHT WAS AWSOME LAST SATURDAY NIGHT WAS AWSOME IT STARTED OFF TERRIBLE BUT LOOKED UP LATE IN THE NIGHT... THE TRACK WAS SET AND READY AT 3PM WITH RACERS CALLING IN FROM ALL OVER TO ASK THE WEATHER CONDITION I JUST LAUGHED AND TOLD THEM I WASNT GOING TO SAY ANYTHING TO JINKS MYSELF..WITH THAT SAID THEY KNEW THAT EVERYTHING WAS A GO.... THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN AT AROUND 3:15PM ALL HELL BROKE LOSE AND 4INCHES OF RAIN FELL IN 30MINS WHAT WAS I SUPPOSED TO DO??? ALL THE SENSORS WAS FLOATING WE SNATCHED THEM UP AND STARTED DRYING THEM OUT WHILE THE REST OF US STARTED WORKING ON THE TRACK DETERMINED TO HAVE A RACE WE PUSHED WATER AS WELL AS THE 6INCH DIESEL PUMP STEADILY RUNNING THE WATER JUST SEEMED LIKE IT WASNT GOING  ANYWHERE.. SO I TALKED WITH RICK STUBBLEFEILD WHICH HAS HELPED ME OUT MORE THAN I CAN RETURN AND WE COME UP WITH JUST GETTING ONE LANE PREPARED TO RUN... SO THAT WE DID AS THE TRACK WAS DRIED OUT WHICH WAS NOT A EASY TASK WITH WATER ALMOST 3 FEET DEEP 100WIDE AND 600 FT LONG WAS DONE I STARTED HOOKING THE SENSORS BACK UP... THEN IT HITS HOME NONE OF THE SENSORS THAT TOOK THE BEATING OF THE RAIN MADE IT THROUGH SO I WENT TO BACK UPS, WE ENDED UP WITH ONLY 2 SENSORS FOR THE NIGHT ONE TO START AND ONE TO FINISH...MAN I WSA SCARED THIS WOULD PUT A BAD TASTE IN ALL THE NEW COMERS AND SOME OF THE OLDS MOUTH SO WE DID WHAT WE COULD AND DID THE RESULTS TURN OUT GREATTTTTTTT... WITH  CLASSES TO FIT ALMOST ALL WE RUN EVERY CLASS AS USUAL EXCEPT THE STREET HEADS UP CLASS WHICH WAS ELIMINATED DO TO ONLY ONE LANE AND HERES HOW SOME OF THE CLASSES FELL PRO without nitrous 1-POSSESSED JEEP/RANDY...2.32/2.34 2-BLACK MAGIC RANGER/JOSH...2.40/2.42 3-BAD HABIT/RICK...2.51/2.89 PRO with nitrous 1-FAST AND THE FURIOUS S-10/GREY...2.30/2.34 2-WFO S-10/SEAN...2.32 3-POSSESSED JEEP/BOBBY...2.33/2.44 4-BAD HABIT/RICK...2.43/2.39 OUTLAW STREET 1-KENS TUFF TRUX/DAN....TIME NOT AVAILABLE 2-STEAMBOAT/KEN.....TIME NOT AVAILABLE CONSISTENCY 1-WILD HOG/RONNIE....2.54/2.56-----.02 1-DIRTY SOUTH/K WING...3.36/3.38-----.02 NEW TRACK RECORD SET BY GREY TAYLOR IN THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS S-10 WITH PADDLES.............2.08 AND I THINK THAT WILL BE THERE FOR A LONG TIME HE LANDED THAT WHILE EVEN LETTING OFF THE GAS BUTTON BOUT 30FT BEFORE THE FINISH LINE AND THE CROWD WENT INSANE THEY WANTED TO SEE THAT AGAIN....BUT THEY WILL HAVE TO WAIT TILL NEXT TIME IN SEPTEMBER WHEN WE WILL HAVE A EVEN BETTER SHOW WITH THE WEATHER PERMITTING WITH SOME GOOD CASH PAYOUTS ON THE LINE   TILL THEN IF YOU NEED TO CONTACT ME ABOUT OUR TRACK FILL FREE (863) 412.3012 EDDIE     THANKS FOR YOU TIME AND SUPPORT EDDIE    Report

I'M SURE WHAT WE DISCUSSED ON PAYOUTS WILL SET THAT PLACE ON FIRE!! SORRY TO SEE SEAN LOOSE OIL PREASURE, THAT TRUCK WAS FLYIN ON HIS FIRST NOS PASS. HOPE NOTHING MAJOR,LIKE TO SEE IT AT BITHLO THIS COMING WEEKEND.. WELL EDDIE YOU HAD A GOOD TURN-OUT HOPE EVERYONE WAS HAPPY.. MAYBE WE'LL SEE MORE PRO-STOCK AND PRO STREET TRUCKS IN SEPTEMBER.. Glad to see more trucks going to Bubba's and the times keep getting faster.(hope Sean's engine is OK). Rick - keep that small block fly'en (or is it time for a -SureThing). Good luck to all. I'll be headed for Vermont this weekend - If anyone is interested? I will post the results for class 3 & 4    Report

08-02-2007, 8:46 PM Bubba'sMudRanch Joined on 03-02-2007 Posts 34 Re: LAST SATURDAY NIGHT WAS AWSOME traveler its always nice to hear about other venues on here..kinda keeps you up in the world. i told rick last time he was out at my place that we needed to get this site back up to date so all the racing is on the same page... i like this site it is the best set up site that i have been on for racing period... we need to get the word out so everyone will be on the same page due to if i ever get a break im gonna try to break the ice with some super races, im getting the resources to do it now im just looking for more space so we can conduct business like i do at bubbas just with more room for parking... last month i told everyone it would sell out and i did before 9pm i closed the gates and kept the show runnign...we had a few tech prob with mother nature but busted my butt to make it go   i told everyone that in september it would be better and im working on it right now so if anyone reads this and races make sure you make it bubbas mud ranch in sept to race....     till then and we will be waitn on the result traveler eddie    Report
