WAY AND I WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW ABOUT MUD RACERS ASSOCIATION MEETING AT MOTOJAM LAST WEEKEND . WE CAME UP WITH 3 SUGGESTIONS  FOR 2008 TO SUBMIT TO NMRO DEC 1 ST MEETING . THEY ARE : 1. PERMIT ENTRY FEES TO ALLOW 2 PASSES IN ALL PRO CLASSES WITH LANE SWITCH 2. MAKE CLASS II A PRO CLASS WITH PURSE AND POINTS . 3 CLASS  III -SUPER STOCK   1. RULE  -VEHICLES MUST HAVE STOCK APPEARING BODY AND STOCK APPEARING FRAME   2. RULE  -WHEEL BASE MAXIMUM 135" SEE WWW.MUDRACERSASSOCIATION.COM  FOR EXPLAINATION OF SUGGESTIONS . Two passes for one paid entry fee / swap lanes - sounds good to me for class 2,3,4. Not so sure about class 5 & 6 (i don't race those) I just want to think that 5 & 6 fall in the If it ain't broke, don't fix it rule. 2. Class II a pro class with purse. Only if the class is modified enought to make it a true Super-Stock class and there's still a good class for all of the street trucks. I think most street and/or slightly modified trucks (with tags) would rather have the trophy. 3. Class III rule: I do not see where this would change a thing. Y'll need to just make it Stock frame with back-half and/or 2x3 competitiion frames OK. and let the racers build to it with future rides. Wheel base 135 in: seems long to me for a class III truck (I like 130" better) doesen't make much difference. Just would like to see something in place to prevent racers from moving the front axle foward and the tires sticking out in front of the bumper. C'ya at Jacksonville.    Report
